Happy Birthday to you!

We have an adorable couple staying in our "Love" bedroom this weekend and they are also celebrating a birthday!! By request of the husband, we made homemade strawberry cupcakes for his wife because those are her favorite! Yummmmm..........

Double Decker

One of the best weekends in Oxford just took place.....great music, art, food, and visitors! A highlight for me was seeing Charlie Mars and Iron and Wine perform on Friday night.  The line up for Saturday was great too....music starting at 10 am and not ending until after 10 pm-- can't complain about that!!! I am sad to see it come to an end but am already looking forward to Memphis in May next weekend!!!

TOO many green tomatoes....

Here comes the cold weather.... knowing that it was supposed to snow yesterday I did our last and final harvest of the year.

I gathered about 30 green tomatoes and 6 green bell peppers. Since we have already made fried green tomatoes I decided to try something new- Green Tomato Chutney and it is delicious!!! A little on the spicy side but will be perfect to place on top of goat cheese! YUMMM.....
